Yours to Discover

If you’d like to discover Pátzcuaro or the surrounding areas in greater detail, we’re happy to arrange guided tours with our respected local anthropologist, Miguel Angel Nuñez. Also, our registered tour guide, Marcia Parrino.  They are both very knowledgeable  about the history and culture of Pátzcuaro and the many small towns around the lake. And if you want to bring the flavours of Mexico back to your homeland, sign up for one of our fun traditional Mexican or gourmet cooking classes (private classes can be arranged for groups of four or more). These classes are perfect for the amateur or expert chef – contact us for more information!

And if you want to brush up on your Spanish, the CELEP School of Language is located right across the street from Villa Victoria Pátzcuaro. You can check their website for further information:

Weather Conditions

Daytime weather in Pátzcuaro ranges between 18C (65F) and 25C (80F).  Depending on the time of year, we recommend that you pack some warm clothes, covered shoes and long pants as temperatures cool significantly during the evenings and nights from November until March. Patzcuaro is located at 7,100 feet, and the nearby hills are covered with pine forests.  Our rainy season (yes, we are in the tropics!) traditionally runs between mid-June and September.  When you are making your reservation we will be pleased to inform you about the current weather conditions, and what type of clothing we would recommend that you bring.
